As a makeup artist myself, I understand the importance of skin care. If you have the right skin care routine and products, it's a complete game changer. In this blog I will be talking about my favourite go to skin care products. From high end, expensive skin care, to high street skin care, that does the job.
There are products on this list for all price points.
First on the list is Bio oil. This product is great for anyone with scaring or uneven skin tone, caused by hormones. With consistent use, the vitamin A & E in the oil can help thicken the skin and create antioxidants, while the chamomile in the oil helps to give a soothing and calming effect.

If you haven't had the most restful night sleep and have some dark circles under your eyes, or maybe just want to give your under eyes a bit of a pamper before applying your makeup for the day, this is the product for you.
The coffee extracts in the hydrogel eye pads are what gives it, its energising effect. I would also recommend putting them in the fridge 10 minutes before you plan to use them, for an extra cooling and de-puffing effect.

If you are looking for an affordable lip cream, that nourishes, moisturises and that adds a little volume to your lips, then look no further. This cream comes in two shades, transparent, and "tutu rose" which gives a very subtle pink tint to your lips. I always have this lip cream in my bag when I am travelling, especially if I am flying, as the high altitude and thinner air used to make my lips become very dry and chapped, but not anymore thanks to this very affordable lip product.
Ingredients in this product include: with sesame seed oil and hyaluronic acid
Now, Zo Skin Health is in the higher price range, but I have to say these products have worked liked magic for me and for many people I know, so I would 100% say they are worth the money. It is also good to add, that although these products are quite deer, a little bit of the product goes along way, so they do usually last a fairly long time.
These products are medical grade skin care. What does this mean? This means you can't by them over the counter, they must be given to you by a medical professional. The reason for this, is due to the fact that the concentration of active ingredients in these products are a lot higher than your normal off the shelf skin care.
If you go online and look at before and after pictures of people using these products, its incredible!
These products are great for people who want to prevent ageing, suffer with acne, or have issues with pigmentation and the list goes on.
COMPLEXION RENEWAL PADS £39
DAILY POWER DEFENCE MOISTURISE £109
EXFOLIATING POLISH £60
EXFOLIATING CLENSER £33
SULFUR MASQUE £35
It is safe to say that this is not a cheap lip balm, but if you suffer with sensitive or severely dry lips/ skin, I recommend you at least try this balm once. This balm completely hypoallergenic, therefore, it is not perfumed.
If you on the other hand do not suffer with any skin related issues, I don't think it's worth pushing the boat out for this product.
Cicaplast Lavant B5 Soothing Wash
The great thing about this product is that it is suitable for all the family, from a month old baby, all the way to the elderly. Like the Cicaplast Baume Lip balm this product is the perfect cleansing gel for anyone with dry or sensitive skin, as it very gently soothes while protecting and cleansing the skin.
This gel wash can be used on the whole body from your scalp all the way down to your toes.
If you are a returning reader, you will know that I do love this moisturiser, and used to use it all the time. It's super affordable and if you are looking for a basic moisturiser then this one does the job well! This moisturiser is great if you are on the go as you can use it for your whole body. It also contains Jojoba oi,l which is amazing for moisturising dry skin, soothing eczema prone skin as well as reliving sun burn. Jojoba oil does also help create a glowing complexion as well as holding some antibacterial properties.
